The 4 Word Career Mission

When I was first creating Career for Years in 2017, I would design content for my audience of career navigators. I wanted a sign off for my messaging that wasn’t formal and wasn’t cliché. “Kind Regards” or “Cheers” were not going to work.

I thought about what I wanted for my clients, I wanted everything for them. Whatever it was that would give them joy in their careers and the unwavering belief that they could have a meaningful, sustainable career without limits. I wanted them to have “all the good stuff”. So I started using it, but stopped after a while. It was too different, I couldn’t back up my messaging. But I never stopped wanting it for my clients.

Recently, I was meditating. I’ve seriously embraced the practice now. The ideas and insights I have with a tranquil and positive mindset make it well worth the time. One such insight was around why I feel most energised when I’m working one on one with my clients. That connection, the flow of a session, “that’s the good stuff”, I thought to myself. Then I remembered the long lost sign off I had abandoned, it had been true all along, without me truly appreciating why.

Examples of the good stuff:

  • connecting to a client’s energy and assisting them to find renewed connection and clarity relating to their career identity;

  • seeing someone step into their “AHA” moment when they know and feel their career dreams are a sure thing;

  • the transformation I see happen sometimes in as little as one session;

  • the rockstar excitement and confidence I see when people know why and how they can love their career for years.

That’s the good stuff, and I want all of it, for you.
